Is it possible to enable the DNG plug-in on a per-camera basis?

Due to the THM-sidecar scheme I'd like to convert my G2-RAWs upon download to DNGs. My D2x files, OTOH, shall remain as they are. Currently I have to delete the DNGs from them after downloading.

This would be a lot of work to add and seems rather too specialized to me. Surely most people want to use DNG for archiving all raw files rather than doing it on a per camera basis.
