HI all,

wierd problem here. Everything was fine till today - I have the custom button on Downloader enabled to link to Breezebrowser but when I click the "breezebrowser" button it just freezes up the program! i have to CTRL+ALT+DEL to quit it.

Likewise, if I open Breezebrowser and click File - Download instead of opening Downloader it freezes the Breezebrowser!

Now what is more wierd is that I can use the custom button feature and set the command line to point to breezebrowser.exe and then it opens just fine! ONly the "Link Button to Breezebrowser" feature freezes it up. But it does download images. There must be something going on with Windows??

The two apps communicate using Windows messages and some apps can interfere with these. This probably doesn't mean your version of Windows is broken but more likely that you've installed an app that does "clever" things to the Windows message queue and is preventing DLPro and BBPro from communicating.
The only thing you lose by using the command line method is DLPro won't be able to check whether a copy of BBPro is already running and will always launch a new copy.

Well, I did un-install and install and anti virus program, then un-installed that and installed the old one. (Symantec products) Could that have messed with windows messaging? Is there any way to "fix" windows messaging queue? I tried doing a windows restore but it would not do it.

Sorry I don't know how to fix the problem as I have never had it happen on any of my computers. I may be able to find a way to make it less vulnerable to interference from other apps.
