View Full Version : Epson R300 - dark images on Colorlife paper

I'm hoping some other photographer might be able to help me out here.

I have an Epson R300 printer, and I am using Epson's "Colorlife" photo paper to print out my images that I have put together in photoshop (CS2).

They are consistently coming out much darker than what I am seeing on my screen (which has been calibrated using a Spyder).

I've had a look at as many settings as I am aware of, but have no idea what might be causing the problem.

There's always the option of contacting Epson, but last time I did that, it took them 6 weeks to get back to me, and even then their suggestion was useless...

Hope someone can help!

cheers,

Matt

I got an email reply on this from a BBPro user with the same printer...

Basically, for XP systems with SP2 installed (spose that should be all systems!), you need to visit the Epson website to get an updated printer driver, which I've done.

Problem is, haven't had a chance to print out a tester yet!

Will update when I have...
