Can I set an option such that DLPro will use an open instance of itself if one
is already running when a new card is inserted into the card reader?

I'm always loading several cards at once and I'd like to save on closing the
running instance or alternatively, press Ctrl-O to set a new source and then
press Ctrl-J to set a new job code...

Sorry, there isn't an option to do this. The easiest thing to do is to hit the Esc key to close DLPro after downloading the card. Alternatively you could use the automation settings to exit DLPro after downloading each card.
