I would like to know what to enter in Preferences under mapping for the nikon D200. In particular, what to put for %T8 and %T9. Thanks, Joe Smith

You can put whatever you want. It all depends on how you want to use the %T8 and %T9 tokens. There are no predefined uses.
For example, I have set T8=D200 and T9=dslr. On the General path, I set the download directory to be G:\%T9\%Y\%m %b\%Y-%m-%D %J and the file name to be %T8_%r8.
Consequently, I get directories like "G:\dslr\2006\02 Feb\2006-02-02 Home" and file names like D200_1234.NEF (converted from the camera's file name of something like DSC_1111.NEF).
For different cameras in the mapping table, I use different values for T8 and T9. For example, I set T9=dslr for all cameras I use (D70, D200). I set it T9=teresa for cameras that my wife uses. That keeps her photos in a separate directory tree from mine. It puts photos from both the D70 and D200 in the same directory tree, which is the way I want my photos organized.
But you don't have to create a mapping, or set T8 and T9 at all, if you aren't going to use T8 and T9 anywhere.
Take a look at the Help file, Preference Settings, Camera Name Mapping for other example uses of these variables.

Hi Guy, thanks! I think I am beginning to really understand the power of tokens with this program. Joe Smith
