I have tried to follow the tutorial on mapping one of my cameras-the Canon EOS Digital Rebel to just say Rebel in my preferences. When I try it, I still get the full name. Could you show me the exact way to use T9 andT8 to make that happen? Thanks Mark Brown

First insert a card containing some images from your camera in your card reader then run DLPro and go to preferences. In the Mapping section delete any old mappings for the camera and you should see your camera in the "Current camera:" text box. Click on the "Add" button and it will display a dialog where you can enter values for %T8 and %T9. Enter something easy to identify for now (e.g. set %T8 to my_T8_mapping and %T9 to my_T9_mapping) and click the OK button. Then click on the "Download Path" tab and enter "%T8 %T9 %o" for the filename and you shoul see something like "my_T8_mapping my_T9_mapping IMG_9602.JPG" in the example filename box at the bottom.
If this is working you can go back to the mapping section, double click on the entry for your camera and set the values for %T8 and %T9 as required.
