I often download from an image card that has captures on it from a previous shoot. When I change the job code name and download, all the previous shots are downloaded again. Is there a way to use the job code and not reload images twice or do I need to format the card each time? Thanks

The DL Pro help page says that a file is considered to be 'downloaded' when

"A file of the same name, size and timestamp is in the download directory (i.e. it has probably been downloaded already). It will not be overwritten when "Download" is pressed."

So DL Pro is looking at your target directory to see if the files are already downloaded, and not finding them, because you have already moved them, or the target folder is different this time, or you have changed their size or timestamp.

There are therefore several possible causes of your problem. But they won't, I think, be on the card, so formatting it is not going to help. DL Pro does not change anything on the card (apart from deleting files when you tell it to), so it cannot use the card to remember what has been downloaded. Look at your workflow after download to find out why DL Pro is not finding the files in your download directory.

The job code is reusable. If, as I do, you have DL Pro prompt for it on startup, you will find that it remembers the last code you entered, so you can just OK the dialogue to keep that code.
