View Full Version : DNG Plugin Problem

Enabled and configured DLPro 1.8.1 to use the Adobe DNG Converter.

The download of my RAW files works OK, then it finds the Converter, but stops the process with the following error message

Quote

Error (1) Trying to execute command
"Path of the converter" -c -p2 -o "File path"

Unquote

This message appears after each file.
The result is no conversion is taking place (but all the RAW files are downloaded OK).

My RAW files are from a CAnon EOS20D.

Any suggestions to what may be causing the problem.
Thanks

Please check you are using the latest version of the DNG converter (version 3.3) and have specified the right path in the DNG plug-in setup.

With the latest version of the DNG converter it works fine with 20D raw files, but I get "Error (1)" with raw files from the Canon EOS 30D (which isn't supported by Adobe's DNG converter yet).

Thanks for the reply.

Confirm I have V3.3.0.52 of the DNG Converter and that the correct path has been entered in DLPro.

It definitely works with 20D raw files on my system. What happens if you try to run the DNG converter from the Windows Command Prompt (aka MSDOS prompt) window and type in the command line manually?

When running from the DOS prompt using the Command Line options -c-p2-o the DNG converter loads correctly.

Same applies without the Command Line options.

Effectively, same as running from a Windows shortcut.

These are the settings I'm using:

Changed my settings/file location to match your example, but unfortunately the same error message is received.

Looks as if I will have to run the DNG converter outside of DLPro where is works without any problem.

Thanks
