        Chris,

Can you integrate names and country code in the form of drop-down lists bound between them in BreezeBrowser?
These data are defined in the standard ISO A3 and authorize only a single spelling.

        Thank you.

        Jean-Luc

Do you know of a copyright free list of ISO country names and codes? The last time I looked the lists were all protected by copyright.

This list is also available on the site of the United Nations, but under copyright! - http://unstats.un.org/unsd/methods/m49/m49alpha.htm

Apparently, the ISO sells this list (150 or 60 FCH for the remote loading)!

        http://www.iso.org/iso/en/CombinedQueryResult.CombinedQueryResult?queryStrin g=3166

This list is available on various very visible sites, without a protection by copyright being announced for these data:
        Wikipedia - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISO_3166-1
        Davos - http://www.davros.org/misc/iso3166.html

IUT (which depends on the United Nations!) maintains a list similar, but not identical with a protection by copyright:
        http://www.itu.int/cgi-bin/htsh/mm/scripts/mm.list?_search=ITUstates&_languageid=1

With the copyright, the modern world is wonderful.

Thanks. The Davros page is dated 2003 and so might be out of date and the Wikipedia page uses UN names for some countries. The Wikipedia page is probably the best starting point.
