I have read about BreezeBrowser in a german forum and downloaded it for testing. I'm impressed, it is a very nice tool. But the quality by viewing images is not the expected one.

Please see the pic below:
by viewing in BB 2.11.............................................. ..................and in V2.9
http://www.m-sj.de/Bilder/forum/bb_2.jpg

The left one is a screenshot by viewing the image in BrezzeBrowser V2.11,
the right one is a screenshot by viewing it in V2.9 (2.9 was the oldest version to download).

See the diffrence:
The left image in V2.11 has viewable steps, by viewing it in V2.9 the steps are not there. The image quality in V2.9 is correct.
If I view the image with the WinXP integrated imagebrowser, the quality is the same as shown in BreezeBrowser V2.9.

Both are captured screenshot in non "hig quality" (HQ) view. NO diffrent settings! When I switch in high Quality view, the steps are not present.
I use WinXP SP2 with the latest Nvidia display drivers.

Please tell me, are these steps normal in V2.11 ?
In another viewing tool (Cam2PC 4.5) the image is also displayed without any steps.

Thanks for any help.

P.S.: SORRY for my bad english.

It's a trade-off between viewing speed and image quality. The method used in BB v2.11 is faster than in BB v2.9 but may show "jaggies" on near horizontal or near vertical sharp edges. In HQ mode both versions use the same method to display the images. I will see whether I can fine tune the settings to improve the non-HQ display in BB v2.11 without making it too slow.

...thanks for your statement Chris.

I post this thread in a german forum and there are some guys with the same observation.

I don't use the HQ-Modus because the pictures becomes sharpness.
For better criticism I want the see the pics like the camera shots.
