Hello, THX for checking out my delimma and maybe some help on finding a suitable image utility!

My Panasonic DVD recorder and Plasma TV will both display jpeg images but only those images from a digital still camera or imported from a PC that conform to both EXIF, (2.0, 2.1, 2.2) and DCF, (Design rule for Camera File system) formats.

This has caused me a lot of greif because all of the photographs I have taken are from an early digital camera I have: a Minolta Dimage V, that evidently does not meet these requirements. :(

Can one of the Breeze Products put a DCF EXIF header on my jpeg images so I can see them on my video system? I am sure this will be a future issue for others as well as we move so rapidly with ever-changing hardware.

Please Help

BreezeBrowser and BreezeBrowser Pro can both copy EXIF data from other images. However, I think it the folder structure is more likely to be the cause of the problem than the lack of EXIF data. Try using a folder structure like:
\DCIM\123CANON\IMG_0123.JPG

Thanks Chris,
I tried arranging the folder structure and it still couldn't recognize the images. I borrowed a Panasonic D-snap camera and it did recognize these images; so I copied the files, folders, etc to the smartmedia and it could read these images on the other memory media fine. Somehow the Minolta images are lacking, I believe, the correct header information.

I think the next step is for me to try using the Breeze Browser to copy the EXIF from one of the latest images to the older minolta files and give this a go. It probably sounds easier than it is so I will get prepared....
