I am using PSRemote multi-camera version with 2 Canon Powershot G7 cameras. I chosen the "gang shutter releases together" option within PSRemote. I occasionally get a crash with PSRemote, unhandled exception at 0x01d35000. This does not always happen, perhaps, say 10% of the time. Could it be a timing issue, writing to file? Is there a workaround. A fix?

I think it is more likely that the Canon libraries or drivers are crashing. Are you using the live viewfinder display? If so, could you try turning it off before taking the pictures to see if that helps.

Just before he program crashes I sometimes get a dialog with "Exception in Exif::GetComment()". Is this in PSRemote code or the Canon driver?

It calls a function in the Canon libraries and so it might be a problem with the Canon libraries not being thread safe. What happens if you leave the comment field empty?

I don't think that's it, the comment field has always been empty, I don't use it.

I've just been running some long time-lapse sequences with a couple of cameras connected and found one possible race condition which could cause it to crash. Please could you try the latest beta version which can be downloaded from:
