Hi, I just downloaded the latest version of PSremote and hooked up my A620, everything works fine, except that I am getting a very irritating continous flickering in the Live Viewfinder.
Any ideas?

Sorry I don't know what is causing the flicker. On my system the A620 provides a very clear live viewfinder image.
It might be a display driver problem, or if it is a very old PC it might not be fast enough. The only other thing I can think of is to check that the USB connection is USB 2.0 not USB 1.1.

Hi Chris
Thanks for getting back to me.
My system is using an AMD 2500 on a Abit NF7-S V2, not new but not THAT old either. It has USB 2.
I run a dual boot WinXP and W2K system, and I have tried it on both with the same problem! So I guess its not display drivers either.
I hooked up my old A75, and guess what, no flicker!
Any more ideas???
Thanks
Mark

Sorry I don't know why the A75 live viewfinder display doesn't flicker on your system and the A620 does. The A75 is USB 1.1 whereas the A620 is USB 2.0 and so it might be a problem with the USB interface. Is the USB 2.0 interface supported by the computer motherboard or is it on a separate interface card?
If possible please try using one of the computer's main USB ports rather than a USB hub etc. Do you get the same problem if you run it on a different PC?
On my various test systems the A640, G7 and S5 IS all give very clear, flicker free live viewfinder displays. I've also tested it with an A70 and A80 and these don't flicker either but they do have lower quality live viewfinder displays than current models.
