I have the old G2remote software to use with my Canon G2.

Today I downloaded the DSLR Remote after I borrowed a friend's Canon 350 D Rebel camera.

The first thing I noticed was there is no longer an option for the Tele eZoom in the DSLR Remote version?

I did not seem to be to shoot other than in auto mode (all options greyed out)?

Would I be able to run both versions on the one laptop to control the two cameras?

Thanks,

:)

SLRs lenses don't have electronic zoom and so the only way to zoom the lens with a 350D is to physically turn the zoom ring on the lens itself.

You can't set the exposure mode for the 350D from the computer. The only way to change it is to turn the dial on the camera.

There shouldn't be any problems in running DSLR Remote Pro and G2Remote on the same computer.
