View Full Version : 1.71 crashes when file folder is opened

I have been running 1.41 without any problems. Updating to version 1.71 I find that opening certain folders on a remote server causes the application to crash completely. Restarting the application and accessing these folders crashes the application every time.

I re-installed 1.41 and there is no problem opening these same folders.

When BB 1.71 crashes there are no messages, the application just shutsdown completely.

What OS are you using?

Are there some folders on the remote server that you can open successfuly rather than "certain" folders? Could there be a difference in status flags and permissions?

Could the specific folders (as viewed in Windows Explorer) contain normally-hidden Breeze support files which were created in 1.4.1, and look ok to 1.7.1 but cause it to bomb. If there are such, try moving these extra files to another folder, and try again.
