Hy there,
I've downloaded a trial of the sofware in subject and I found it absolutely great!!
I'm pretty sure I'll buy it during next days, there is one thing I was really looking for but I could not manage at the moment, it'll be definetly the decision point.

Is it possible to automatically split jpgs and raws fils into different folders?

I know I can create a new folder with several criteria, I spend some time on Tag, but I can't find the way to solve this problem.

What I would dream of is :
- plug card into the reader, a new folder is created on HD named at my chioice, and into this folder further 2 folders are created, "JPG" and RAW, than files are dowloaded into correct folder.

Is there anybody could help me with this?

Thansk a lot in advance!

You use the {E} naming token.

Suppose you download by date, and set your download folder to be, say, E:\Photos\Download\{d}. If you make this E:\Photos\Download\{d}\{E}, each date folder will have the JPG and RAW sub-folders you want - always assuming that you have both types of file in the download, of course.

I hope this helps.

I mean... you are MY HERO!!!
PERFECT! Exactly what I was looking for.... :D :D :D

I've only one stupid question: when a JPG folder is created, all files are copied into the right folder, but also an additional folder "jpg" is created into the same path. The same happens fro raw files.
Ex
E:\Photos\Download\070828\JPG\ contains all *.jpg files PLUS an empty folder, called JPG.
E:\Photos\Download\070828\RAW\ contains all *.cr2 files PLUS an empty folder, called RAW.

I can definetly live with it, but do you have any idea about how to avoid the creation of these empty folders??

Thanks, thanks and thanks again... :)
Ciao!

I am not any kind of hero: I just happen to have learned my way round the DL Pro Help file (which, by the way, is pretty good).

I'm afraid I can't reproduce your problem with the spurious folder. For the avoidance of doubt, you only need the one {E} in the specified download folder name. You would not use this token or its variants in the file name.
