:) Superb program, but some issues under (fully updated) Win XP. I'm happy to keep reporting bugs and suggestions, but don't wish to waste time with known issues or duplicate requests. Is there a list? Anyway, here's mine so far:

1) Bug: Live View window zoom: If zoom used, the image reverts to full frame after exposure (same behaviour as camera), however the "Zoom" checkbox remains checked. I'd much prefer the option of restoring the zoom after a shot, but as a minimum the checkbox should be cleared to match the behavior and so that a single click will restore zoom.

2) Bug: Live View menu option: (Camera>Live View) This only starts the live view window. I guess it's intended to toggle it in the same way as Ctrl+L and for a tick to show alongside when camera is in Live mode.

3) Bug: Live View mouse wheel focusing: Sometimes focus jumps are large even without shift key press. Very erratic. Is there a lurking 'velocity sensitive' scaling? My preference would be for large jumps only when mouse wheel pressed down or shift pressed. It would be neat if the focus-rectangle around the focus buttons changed to match the direction and scale of the mouse wheel focus changes.

4) Bug/unimplemented: Drive mode selection: Only Single shot and timer delay modes work.

5) Wish: Bracket focusing: It would be great to be able to bracket focus, especially for macro work when making a stack of images for use with eg Helicon Focus

6) Wish: Focus aid intensity graph: For critical manual focusing it would be handy to have a graph of pixel intensity along a (movable :) ) line. Maximum gradient/peak-peak value would indicate optimum focus. Then there's the option of automating this procedure for remote autofocus :) :)

Many thanks,

I'm trying to find a way to keep the live view zoomed but the camera appears to be determined to zoom out after taking a photo.

2) Bug: Live View menu option: (Camera>Live View) This only starts the live view window. I guess it's intended to toggle it in the same way as Ctrl+L and for a tick to show alongside when camera is in Live mode.
This isn't a bug. If the main window has input focus Ctrl+L or Camera->Live View either activates live view or if it is already activated it makes the live view window visible and gives it input focus (so that you can find it if it has been covered by another window). Typing Ctrl+L when the live view window has focus closes the wiondow.

Windows stores up the mouse wheel events and so if there is a delay while the camera focuses or with the PC displaying the live view images you may find it jumps to catch up. This tends to be more of a problem on slowish laptops.

4) Bug/unimplemented: Drive mode selection: Only Single shot and timer delay modes work.
Sorry I can't reproduce this problem with my 1D3. When I run it all the various drive modes can be selected without any problems.

5) Wish: Bracket focusing: It would be great to be able to bracket focus, especially for macro work when making a stack of images for use with eg Helicon Focus
It's an interesting suggestion. The focusing adjustments are all relative and probably not very repeatable. They simply nudge the focus by small, medium or large amounts. You could probably use a scripting tool like AutoHotkey to do this.

I'm not sure what you mean by this
