To remove (the same) unwanted keywords from a group of images in the same folder:
Highlight the images in Thumbnail View.
Start the Keyword Editor (Ctrl+Shift+K).
From the keyword list pane, delete all entries except those you wish to delete.
Select the radio button 'Delete keywords listed above ...'
Click on 'Apply to selected'.
After confirmation, the unwanted keywords will be deleted from the selected messages.
Unfortunately the only way of avoiding the problem in the first place is to have a better memory - not much good for me, then.
Hope this helps.

Hello, Peter. You are right about the fix David gave - it is in Breeze Browser.
The problem is that the moment an image file is on your hard drive, it is out of Downloader and out of that program's scope.
So if (like most of us) you miss something when preparing Downloader, the incorrect data must be corrected by an image browser such as Breeze Browser Pro.
Do you have Preferences set up to show the IPTC data fields every time a card is inserted? If you are downloading only a selection of the images on a card, you will need to use the Edit IPTC/XMP menu item for each selection, before downloading.

Oops. My apologies for addled working of aged brain.
Clive has given you the right answer. BB Pro or whatever provides the only fix for incorrect data one it is in the image.
I am cautious about adding IPTC data, including keywords, in DL Pro; typically I try to apply only the data that applies to the whole set. But errors still occur if I am not careful, particularly with data that is carried over from one DL Pro session to the next.
One thing you can do is save a very basic set of IPTC data as an XMP file (using the 'Save to File' button in the IPTC dialogue), then have the IPTC editor pop up for each card as Clive suggests. You can then load your basic set to get rid of data carried over from the previous session. If there is not much to change, you can of course just edit the data as Clive says.
Hope this helps.
