Well the title says it all. thanks for making a photobooth software that works great and is not $600.

since many P&S cameras can give you live video out I think they are better than DSLR's for photobooth applications. I'd love to see a version of PS remote that was photobooth capable. How a bout it?

I'd also love to see a quick preview picture after each shot.

Keep up the awesome work.

Peace, Rolland

Sorry I don't have any plans to add the same photobooth options to PSRemote at the moment. Until recently live view was only available with PowerShot cameras but now the latest DSLRs like the 40D have live view which in some ways is better than the PowerShot live view e.g. image size 1024x680 vs 320x240. Also I'm reluctant to put a lot of development effort into PSRemote until Canon release an SDK which supports Vista.

OK, I understand. It's just most photobooth owners would rather spend $1200 on making a booth than a really powerfull canon d40. A small live view that the p&S cameras give is not great, but adequate considering the cost of upgrading to a 40D.

Plus the only other available photobooth software is going for $600 so I'm sure you could charge extra for your ps remote version and hopefully make a good profit?
