Hi All

I have yet to install/trial either of the above but what I was looking for is a comparison list of the two products to help me decide what would make the best choice based on my perceived needs combined with DLPro usage.

I am sorry if I have missed such a list on the website but I can not see one.

Many thanks in advance of your feedback.

:)

PS I am looking into buying the new Canon 350D - any thoughts when that will be covered by BB or BBPro & DLPro ?

Sorry the last few months have been very busy and I haven't had time to add a comparison of BB and BBPro.

I plan to add raw conversion support in both BB and BBPro. It's too early to say when this will be added as I may need to wait for Canon to update their SDK. I will be getting a 350D next week and should know more then.

Hi Chris

Many thanks for getting back to me.

OK, I understand about time pressures lol!

But my dilemma is that just when I thought I was ready to get BB the BBPro appeared.

I feel that I am not the only potential user/buyer facing such as issue & without a clear comparison 'chart' I am left sitting on the fence as I do not wish to trial both, I prefer to make my decision based on the spec then test it and buy it if meets my needs.

Ref: The 350D I look forward to any feedback etc soon.

:)

I dug back and found Chris' original announcement of BB Pro:

4) New improved combined raw conversion for Canon EOS cameras including the EOS-1D series

5) Contact sheets can be printed to file and saved as JPEG, TIFF or PNG images so that they can be printed by your photo lab
