Was curious if there was a way to have a shortened version of the filename overlaid on the prints.

Right now if I can overlay the whole filename, but its something like 20091003_214958.jpg Which is long and ugly.

Is there a way to clip it so that I could just get the 214958 for example?

I tried accomplishing this with an overlay, but it looks like the filename gets placed on top of everything.

If this isn't possible right now, what are the chances of adding this as a future feature? I'd like to use it as a code they can enter to be taken right to their pictures for downloading.

You can use tokens for the date and time in the caption text e.g. %t will give you the time in the form HHMMSS
