Does version 1.8 DSLR have the release .jpg option?

Yes, this was added in DSLR Remote Pro for Windows v1.8.

Chris I removed the previous version & installed v1.8 but release.jpg didn't show in the photobooth images list. In fact I think that my origional modified list was still there. What did I miss in the installation? I'm sure that it is something simple but I can't see what it is.

All you need to do is add a release.jpg image in the photobooth images folder and this will be displayed when the countdown timer reaches 0 and the camera is instructed to take the picture.
