I think the problem is because the edited JPEG is incomplete. If you look at the bottom of the image it is black because the last few scan lines are missing. This is causing BBPro problems when it tries read the image data to update the thumbnail JPEG. I will see whether I can trap the error and prevent it from causing BBPro to crash but it may not be possible to copy the EXIF data if the JPEG data is corrupted.

What is surprising is that this crash (Exif Copy ou Copy EXIF From...) is sytematically with the photos loaded and worked into photoshop from a selection in BBP 1.9.5.

No problem loading the file to edit from BBP 1.9.4.3

I think I may have found the problem. The EXIF copy code had to be rewritten because the previous method used temporary files and had problems if another app locked the temporary file. The new code appears to be failing to write the last byte of the file for some reason.
I need to do some more testing and will include a fix in the next update (this should be ready next month when Canon EOS 550D/Rebel T2i support is added).

Chris,

I would like to add my thanks. I ran into the same problem a couple of days ago, and here you already have it fixed. Outstanding, and much appreciated.
