I have a Power Shot S2 IS and I am trying to get it to work with PS Remote and it won't recognize the camera. Any idea what I am doing wrong? I am using the evaluation version as I am considering this camera for my second booth.

You have to make sure you are using a USB 2 cable. I have used the same camera. It also would not recognize until I changed cables. The USB 2 worked, the USB 1 did not.

This may not be your problem, but it cured mine.

Not sure if this applies to all PS cameras, but ensure that the camera is in Play Mode and not camera mode.
