Psremote xml template files won't load in dslr remote?
I get an error saying that dslr remote tag was not found.

Does one really have to recreate all the settings? Is there a way to edit the xml file and fix this issue? What program can one edit it in? Frontpage?

You can edit the XML file using any text editor and change the psremote tags to dslrremote_pro and then try loading the file. However, PSRemote and DSLR Remote Pro are different apps with different settings and there is no guarantee that this will work.

I still get the following error message:

The only two tags I changed were near the top and bottom. Specifically the second from top line used to say and the bottom line used to say

Sorry there was a typo in my reply - it should read dslr_remote_pro not dslrremote_pro.

You need to change the opening and closing tags:

As I mentioned earlier the XML files are not designed to be interchangeable and may not work properly.

OK, it works now. Personally I would not upgrade if the templates could not be imported. They take hours to make. So please keep future compatibility going.
