I've purchased a Canon PS SX100 IS. The camera connects fine to the computer. It shows up in My COMPUTER. I can see the photos on the card.
However.... I cannot get DSLR Remote Pro to see it or connect to it.
Is the knob on the top of the camera supposed to be set to a specific setting? (ie. M, AV, TV, etc....)
I don't see anything in the menu of the camera that says I can switch it to PC mode.
This camera does have live view.
HELP! Is this camera compatible with DSLR REMOTE?
Thank you

Hey Harry,
I see that you figured this one out from your post over in pbt.
Good Luck.

I figured out the connection issue.
However... I have no clue how the software can be made to resemble a photobooth screen. Is there any built-in templates?
All I see when I click full-screen is the picture surrounded by the screen measurements. No preview after the photo is taken. No 4-picture strip. No nothing.
How complicated is this software? :(

You have to replace the ready.jpg, processing.jpt 1.jpg, 2.jpg, etc with your own images. To do so you need to find out what your screen resolution is and make the images to fit.

Is there a place where people trade these images?

I got the camera working. I actually got the "stock" backgrounds to work. It took me a LONG time to figure out that CTRL and F4 actually get it to full screen, and that F4 actually starts the picture taking process.
Now... I have to figure out how to get the layout to actually look like a double-strip with 4 pictures on each side of a 4x6. It's definitely got a learning curve.

The example layouts here should help:

The more time I spend with the application, the easier it is getting. Thank you!
