View Full Version : NKRemote photobooth crashing laptop display drivers

So trying to get Photobooth mode working on my ASUS Eee PC notebook connected to a Nikon D5000. Switching into full photobooth mode causes the display to start flickering on and off, and windows 7 reporting that it's Nvidida drivers have recovered from a serious error.

NKremote is fine in preview mode and live mode, but unsuable in live Photobooth mode.

I downloaded the latest drivers from Asus, but no luck.

Any advice?

It sounds as though there may be bugs in the display drivers. I don't have an Eee PC netbook to test this on, but I did try it on an Eee Top desktop and that appears to work OK.
Does it work if you uncheck the mirror live view option? Maybe the bitblit with mirroring the live view is too much for the display drivers.
