Dslr help!!

Have trial version of DSLR Remote Pro and a Canon T2i camera hooked up. count down to photo #1, it dosent take photo and displays error on computer screen H/W Error: 0x00000081 What am I missing???

I've had similar errors and asked for helpon this forum.
There have never been any conclusive answers.
Best to just reinstall software and try again. Make sure the battery is fully charged.
