Is there a way to include my overlay on top of the image preview (the one shown after the shot has been taken, and before it prints out?)

With thanks,
Cam

which overlay are you thinking off, the liveview_overaly.png ?

that would actually be quite interesting and would frame it off.

The optional live_view_overlay.png image is applied to the live view display only and doesn't affect the preview or the final printout. The optional image_overlay.png image is applied to the preview image displayed after each shot and to the final pints but does not affect the live view display. You can of course use both, but there isn't an option to display an overlay for the preview images without also applying it to the prints.

Yes, all the apps handle overlays in the same way. However, the live view images from a PowerShot cameras are much lower resolution than the latest Canon DSLRs (320x240 pixels vs 1056x704 pixels) and so it might be hard to make it look good.

Thanks Chris! So how does live_view_overlay.png and image_overlay.png work.
Let's say I have an overlay.png file, do I just rename that to live_view_overlay.png or image_overlay.png?

Thanks again!
