The webcam software was 'recently' updated to include a standby option to make it compatible with the photobooth_coin_acceptor.ahk script
Is there any chance that the PSremote software will be upgraded to do this too?

The latest version, PSRemote 2.1.2, already supports this.

goodness. About time I upgraded then!
Sorry for not even noticing the release, been far too busy :(
