Hey Chris,
Just updated to the 2.3.2 and using rebel 3T. I put in our stripe layout which is a vertical strip of four. Camera is mounted vertically but the images are being printed cropped and turned horizontal. I can't for the life of me figure it out. Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks Jon

Please could you provide more details? Are you using the automtaic layout or the custom layout option? If you're using the automatic layout you may want to deselect the "Rotate images to maximize size" option. In custom layout you can specify the rotation of each image.

Hey Chris,
I'm using custom layout option. I loaded in my numbers from the my previous version of DSLR remote Pro figuring it would be the same. Our strip looks like a traditional 4 vertical strip from dip and dunk machine. For some reason the the images are being placed into the strip sideways. The attached photos show how it used to look and how it it looks now. It's hard to explain so hopefully you can see the attached photos.
Thanks Jon

It's hard to say without knowing what settings you're using. Please check the orientation setting in the View menu is set to one of the portrait settings (it looks as though it is set to landscape).

No, I'm in all the right settings for that. My screen shows vertical images but when it prints it turns them sideways and crops them. What your looking at on the strip is the vertical frame turned sideways and cropped. Just thought it might be some new setting I wasn't seeing. Thanks for taking the time to look at my problem I will try to figure it out.
Thanks, Jon

Please can you send me a copy of your settings so that I can check them on my system? I don't think there is a problem with the latest version, but if there is I need to fix it. Please email them to

Thanks, I've checked the settings on my system and there isn't anything wrong with DSLR Remote Pro. What you need to do is adjust the custom settings to rotate the images 270 (so that the images are the correct orientation) and to swap the width and height values (so that they aren't cropped).
