Is there anyway to get the xml files to save to a folder other than the folder containing the photos? or even just remove it all together?

I don't think there is, in fact just downloaded new version, looked in prefs, settings etc and can't see anywhere to do this.
This has been mentioned before - I would vote yes for this feature - I always delete the xml before download to the client USB at events - it adds a few seconds, and is something else to remember . . .! I think clients would wonder why we have given them the xml, which is why I delete them.
If they went into a separate folder thsi would certainly help.

You can set a registry value to suppress the writing of the XML file:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\BreezeSystems\DSLRRemot ePro\100\PhotoboothSuppressXml
This is ignored if you use the touchscreen keyboard option because it uses stores the data in the XML file.
