Hello,
I have a Canon 300D, shooting raw files.
I have just started using downloader pro and its great. I also use PS Elements 3 for cataloging but I find the batch operations anemic.
Can someone fill me in on how BrowserPro can fit into this workflow? It does not seem to have cataloging abilities, so PSE3 will have to be used for that. But can I use it for normal post-production work?
In other words:
1. download from camera/reader using downloaderPro
2. view, enhance, convert from raw in browserPro (?)
3. catalog in PSE3.
Thanks,
W

1) Download files from card with DLPro to a folder I call 20D, creating subfolders same as were found under DCIM on card

2) IMMEDIATELY MAKE A COPY OF THE FILES TO EXTERNAL HARD DRIVE OR DVD

3) Touch each folder under 20D with BBPro and select all images, renaming them this way YYYY-MM-DD_HH-MM_nnnn where nnnn is the sequence number of the picture

4) Move the files to another folder structure either by year, month, day, or year, month, or by topic (for my topics, see my galleries at http://galleries.defenbaugh.net)

5) Cull through the new, and sometimes old files, so I only keep the good stuff

6) Either use BBPro to convert the raw files to jpg directly, or use RSE or PS/CS2 to make high quality JPG files

7) Use BBPro to make web quality jpgs with HTML and JS

8) Use FTP to replace entire folders on my web site with new versions
