I am using the latest version of DSLR remote and the RX-1 printer. I know that it asks to save the printer settings with the profile. Will this make it possible for the option of either 2 x 6 strips or 4 x 6 print at one event? I use a touch screen and often have more than one output option.

I can't speak for DSLR Remote, but it does for Webcam PB with the same option to save printer settings. So, I expect yes you can too. The printer settings are now unique to each profile. Orientation, color tweaks and paper source (IE strip cut vs. full sheet) can all be unique. I use a HiTi 510L.

I used this at my last event and it works great.

Yes! All you need to do is save the settings for the 2x6 strips layout and the 6x4 layout with the printer settings and then use profiles to switch between the two. This will work with the latest versions of DSLR Remote Pro for Windows, NKRemote, Webcam Photobooth and PSRemote.
