Just saw a new app called pushover. https://pushover.net/ (thanks to ifttt).
I believe that this application (using its API) could be used to send notifications to Smart Devices (iPhone, iPad, Android) for such photo booth events as Printer is out of paper, camera is not connected, etc. I am not a programmer, but if you are and create any scripts that you think would be useful, I will gladly donate some $$ if I use them.
I use DSLR Remote Pro (Canon T3i) and PS Remote (Canon G10) on a WIn7(x32) box with Sony UP-DR200.
