I am doing an event in October where we will be generating one print out per group. They will have the option to request additional images, that can be picked up at the end of the event.
I am wondering if there is a way to put the image number (very small font) on the front of the picture, so we can write it down and have the print ready when they come back

use a caption.
I use the token %t only as a caption. It comes out in the time format of HHMMSS, ie: 201554, which means 8:15:54 pm. Because it includes seconds, it will always be a unique number. That's a 7 pt font.

Thanks for the feed back. I will give it a try. I take it that this is also the number, after the date for the photo strip file names.

From the default file name, yes. That's why I chose it. It's shorter and can be used to find the file easily.

%o or %0 does it, this puts the number of the first image i.e. if the orint has four photos 0001 thru 0004, the caption on the images would be 0001.
