When I use the video booth mode dslr remote pro the live view display is very slow especially once I begin recording. I can't believe more people aren't complaining about this.
I use t2i and t3i. My computer is new and very fast (8core, 2.9 ghz processor with independant video card) I use it for video editing, so it is not possible that it is because of a slow computer.
Has anyone been able to figure out why the lag? I have 6 computers and it lags on all of them. Any help would be welcomed.

What processors do the computers have - Intel or AMD? I've tested this on a variety of computers with Intel quad and dual core i7 and i5 processors and can't reproduce the problem.

I've finally managed to reproduce this on an Intel Core 2 laptop - before capturing video the live view delay is approximately 1/10 sec but during video capture it increases to around 1/4 sec. Canon's EOS Utility software has exactly the same problem on that laptop and so it appears that it is a problem with the Canon camera control libraries. Unfortunately all I can do is report the problem to Canon.
This doesn't happen on any of the i5 or i7 computers I tested. There is still a small delay in the live view images because it takes time to transfer them from the camera to the computer and to decode and display them on the screen.
