When I use sound prompts and the shutter noise files with Webcam photobooth by Breeze, I'm encountering a strange problem.
Files in question would be ready.wav, 1.wav, taking.wav and the rest.
The prompts are garbled - dragged out to much longer times and they sound like somebody is strangling a cat (theoretical knowledge only, I have actually never strangled a cat).
I eventually figured out that it's because the computer is trying to take in the audio from the Logitech M310 webcam. Last weekend I was able to disable all microphones and sound was restored to normal. This weekend we are back to the strangled cat and I'm not sure how to make a permanent "off position" for the microphones.
Because microphones are built into the same USB connection as the camera I can't just unplug them.
There is also a built-in microphone in the laptop computer's built-in components.
I don't see a provision within the Breeze software for disabling the sound. Any suggestions? Thanks.
Computer is a Samsung small laptop with i3 Core processor, 4 GB RAM, running Windows 7.
