I'm seeing very erratic behavior with DLP (ver. 1.6.2) and a new 20D plugged into a new USB2 card (WinXP/SP2).

Symptoms include:
-listing files sometimes stalls
-downloads will fail on 'size different' errors even when I delete the file and redownload
-I get cdUNEXPECTED_EXCEPTION errors on random files (files that worked before)
-I've seen it eventually get to a state of not working at all, giving that cdUNEXPECTED_EXCEPTION error for any and every file I try to download.

I switched to USB1 and it works fine (but slow).

any ideas?

It sounds like a driver or hardware problem. Please check you have the latest Canon USB drivers (www.powershot.com) and drivers for your USB card. Also try using a short, high quality USB cable and use a direct connection rather than a hub. It's possible that the USB2 card is the problem.
