View Full Version : Rotating raw files during download process?

Is Downloader Pro able to rotate vertical raw image files during the process of downloading the files from the card/camera to the PC?

... In my case I'm using a Canon 20D, so I would like my cr2 raw files to have the correct orientation when downloaded to my computer.

If you enable auto rotate in your 20D it will store the camera orientation in the shooting data of raw and JPEG files. There isn't anything else for DLPro to do for CR2 files since rotating them involves changing the orientation value in the shooting data and this has already been set by the camera. There is an option in DLPro to losslessly rotate JPEGs using the orientation data stored in the shooting data.
