View Full Version : Error when using PTLens

Dear Chris,

First and foremost, my compliments on the RAW conversion of the 5D, smooth and clean, very nice 'styles' interface, thanks a mill!

But: when I mark the 'correct for lens distortion' box after I have setup the system, and rebooted the system, I get an 'error while converting RAW' message.

Happens with all setup combinations, camera's and lenses.

Canon 350D/10D/20D/5D + 17-40L/24-70L/70-200L IS, Pro1, G3.

...seems like a glitch when after 'converting RAW file' and 'Applying Smart Noise Reduction Filter' the system wants to start processing the PostProcessing Settings.

I hope this can be cured, as I know and like PTLens (use it in PhotoShop Elements 3.0 ;-))

Kindest regards,

I can't reproduce this on my system at the moment. Can you send me screenshots of the raw conversion and post processing setings you're using so that I can try to reproduce it? Please send them to [email protected]

BTW BBPro only uses the PTLens profile files to read the correction coefficients. The actual image processing doesn't use any PTLens code.

Thanks,

Chris
