Hi,

I currently have Downloader 1.6.2 on my laptop but would like to use it on my new desktop instead. How do I go about transferring Downloader to the new computer, specially the customized settings/preferences that I have set up? Are there files I should copy from one computer to another that contain all the relevant settings?

Hey Keff - Gee, thanks for the help. Do I have to add a signature line to my posts stating "Sorry if this question has been asked already but I couldn't find an answer when I searched the forum"?

Of course I searched the forum - I searched for "Preferences", "Settings", "Files", "transferring new computer", etc etc and variations thereof, both here and on google. No luck finding an answer. Tried again after your "helpful" advice and still didn't find it.

Reason? Because I didn't think to use the magic word: "Xfer".
